About Antler USA

Antler has been in the luxury travel luggage and holiday luggage business for over 90 years, making us the number one brand in the UK luggage market. Antler was founded by J. Boultbee Brooks in 1870, selling leather goods from horse and cart. This was shortly joined by saddle bags and panniers.

In the 1920’s Antler entered the luggage business with leather covered wardrobe trunks for luggage liners. A few years later, in the 1930’s, Antler launched the first ever lightweight soft‐top case and it was an instant success - legend has it that a leading London store bought up the whole of the first consignment which sold in a day.

After the war in the 1950s and 1960s as the Travel industry expanded and the start of mass tourism began, Antler was at the forefront of technical innovations in Holiday luggage, to meet the demands of customers for products suitable for the new age of air travel. Along with celebrity endorsed collections from the famous “Patrick Linchfield”, photographer and cousin for the Queen, this moved Antler into the spotlight as a star in the UK Luggage industry.
